Zaptec launches "UK first" V2G charger for domestic and commercial use
Norwegian EV charging company Zaptec has launched a Vehicle-to-Grid-ready AC charger in the UK. The Zaptec Go 2 is the first to be made available in the UK that supports V2G charging for both domestic and commercial use. The V2G capability supports ISO 15118, which allows communication for plug-and-charge and bidirectional energy consumption between the EV and
the electricity grid.
Nissan and Wayve test AI self-driving cars in Tokyo ahead of 2027 launch
UK AI start-up Wayve and Nissan have begun testing self-driving tech on production vehicles ahead of a planned 2027 launch. The Japanese car maker’s next-generation ProPilot advanced driver-assist
technology and Wayve’s embodied AI system have been integrated into select Ariya electric vehicles (EVs). The vehicles feature 11 cameras, 5 radar sensors, and 1 lidar sensor mounted on the roof.
