pollution. Still, the country as a whole failed to meet World Health Organisation guidelines for safe levels of PM2.5 or fine particulate matter. Only three European
countries fell within these air pollution guidelines in 2025, according to IQAir’s 2025 World Air Quality Report. These were Estonia, Iceland and Andorra.
